PSO Boston Grievances

File it.Track it.See it through.

A grievance you can follow from the day you file it.

Create an account, file your grievance with photos or documents, and see every step the Local takes. Nothing gets lost in a text message or a hallway conversation.

Before you file

Grievances have time limits under the contract. File as soon as you can after the incident, even if you are still gathering details — you can add more later.

Bring what you have: dates, times, who was there, what was said, and anything in writing. Photos of a post, a schedule or a notice all help.

If you are being questioned and believe discipline may follow, you have the right to ask for a union representative.

What happens next

  1. Filed — you get a number like G-482913 and a confirmation email.
  2. Under review — an officer reads it and may ask for more details.
  3. Presented — the Local takes it to management at the right step.
  4. Resolved or closed — you are told the outcome and it stays on your record here.
